    PRESIDENT
    Rod Vickery
Rod had been a member of the Royal Oak Racquets Club for fifty years, as well as being a past member of Squash and Executive Committees and is the current Vice President

    VICE-PRESIDENT
    Andrew Craw
Andrew is a current Executive Committee member and former Tennis Club Captain

    TREASURER
    Andrew Armstrong
Andrew is the current Tennis Club Captain

    EXECUTIVE MEMBER (x2)
    Lyn Ellis
I am the current Junior Vice President, and have been an Executive Committee member for three years. In that time the Executive has achieved a number of fantastic upgrades to the club, such as the kitchen, bar, ladies showers, and upstairs toilets. I am very passionate about the club and would like to serve one more year in order to undertake the projects currently planned. My objective is solely for the benefit of the Royal Oak Racquets Club and its members

    Jeff Chambers
I am a current Executive Member, and have been heavily involved donating my time with various projects at the club recently, including the tennis court renovations, flat renovations, worked on compliance for the swimming pool area, and repairing the stairs and deck leading to the flat. I have helped with club fundraisers, attended all working bees, and have been happy to assist with any projects when asked. My wife Megan is also on the Tennis Committee, and my two boys Jackson and Luke are heavily involved with junior tennis at the club. I am very enthusiastic to continue on as an Executive Member as I enjoy using my business, building and handyman skills to improve the club, and look forward to being involved with the upcoming upgrade projects such as the squash courts and completing renovations in the club flat.

    Penny Small
I have been a member of the Royal Oak Racquets Club for more than 20 years, mainly as a keen squashie but with (very) occasional outings on the tennis courts. As a lawyer, over that time I’ve been able to assist the committees with various legal issues that have arisen, large and small. I have not previously had the time to commit to being a member of the Executive, but now can and I’m keen to help the club by providing my business and legal expertise at an Exec level. The continuing success of the club, in both squash and tennis, is my priority

    Nigel Ryan
Squash Committee member for approximately 5 years, and Squash Club Captain for one year. Involved over the years with working bees, phone book delivery fundraiser, and volunteer bar duty

    TENNIS CLUB CAPTAIN
    Gary Swinkels
Gary is the current Tennis Professional at the club, and has twenty years’ experience at the Royal Oak Racquets Club on various committees

    TENNIS COMMITTEE (x4)
No Nominations – may be taken from the floor at the AGM

    SQUASH CLUB CAPTAIN
No Nominations – may be taken from the floor at the AGM or elected at the first meeting of the Squash Committee

    SQUASH COMMITTEE (x4)
    Amanda Brophy
I have been playing squash for many years and have helped out with many tournaments, doing the draws and tournament control. I am an Account Manager so great at organisation and dealing with people

    Tracey Kimble
I have previously been on the squash committee but have had a three year break and feel I need to give back to the club more

    Rachael Choy
I am currently a fourth year university student studying law (honours) and a BA double major of Psychology and Statistics. I’ve been a member of the Royal Oak Racquets Club for 10-11 years. I am also the president of the Auckland University Squash Club. I can offer the club the perspective of a younger generation with new ideas and an understanding of how RORC operates. I am a loyal, hard-worker, and can offer the club time and effort. I could contribute ideas to boost and retain membership of a younger audience at RORC

Plus one squash committee member – may be taken from the floor at the AGM
